Every Tail Lift must have a LOLER THorough Examination. If you have not had one carried out then you are breaking the law. If you operate a passenger or welfare lift, or if people travel on the platform whilst the tail lift is in operation, then you must have 2 LOLER Thorough Examinations performed every year..................................................
